To ensure the creation of a Digital Bangladesh for the implementation of the present-day Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the government has given special emphasis to the sector to ensure the technical assistance in the implementation and use of information and communication technologies at district, upazila and union level; Access to Information Technology and Information Technology; Maintenance; Implementation; The Department of Information and Communication Technology was formed on July 31, 2013 to ensure the delivery of e-service in the remote areas of the country by expanding the quality of expansion and computer professionals. Presently 7 working objectives in the head office: 1) Creating high-speed electronics connections to the lowest level of the country. 2) To create appropriate infrastructure for providing information related to information and communication technology across the country. 3) Information related to information and communication technology related to public and private level Coordination of activity. 4) Information related to information and communication technology Effective maintenance of services aimed at uninterrupted service .5) Creating ICT services for creating efficient information and communication technology professional at the government level. 6) Increased capability of trained manpower for rapid variable technology. 7) Expansion of information and communication technology knowledge at all levels of government and people. 8 ) Information and communication technology related laws, policies, guideline and standardization Preparation. 9) Creating and maintaining inter-operability in the field of ICT services and products. 10) Provide comprehensive co-operation in the research, innovation and application of innovation. Functions: 1) Ensuring and coordinating the use and application of ICT at all levels of the government. 2) To provide support, maintenance and support to the ICT infrastructure in all the offices till the field level. 3.3) Recruitment, promotion, posting and transferring manpower to the professional office of all levels. 4) Transfer of technical and specialized knowledge of information technology at all levels. 5) Preparation and implementation of policies for the development of equality of government institutions and manpower. 6) Preparation and implementation of policy for equality development 7) Providing service to the people in the electronic system till grass root level Conducting, distributing, and conducting research in this regard. 8) Ensuring the demand, quality and interoperability of machinery etc. 9) To provide research, development and support for the modernization of modern technology at all levels. 10) The talent, experience, qualifications of the officers / employees of the Department.
